Silent night, festive beer
A song that has been translated into more than 300 languages and is on everyone's lips at Christmas. A brewery that has been in the family for four generations and whose beers are enjoyed all year round. It was only a matter of time before the two came together - in the Silent Night festival beer from the Schnaitl private brewery. The result is a bottom-fermented, mahogany-coloured special beer with a taste of toffee, dark chocolate and caramel malt; the finish is delicately bitter. Silent Night beer tastes particularly good with sumptuous feasts such as roast goose, beef steaks, chocolate mousse or Christmas biscuits.

"Almost everyone in the family likes to sing 'Silent Night, Holy Night'. The fact that the song was composed in our neighbourhood was all the more reason for us to honour it with our own beer composition," says brewery boss Matthias Schnaitl IV, whose father Matthias III developed the recipe for the beer. The brewer had already secured the trademark rights for the Silent Night beer decades ago.
