The observation tower in the Obernberg am Inn castle grounds creates "eInn views"

The newly erected observation tower in the historic Obernberg am Inn castle area is full of symbolic significance: built on the edge of the terrain, which already forms a striking elevation above the Inn, it rises 26 metres into the air where towers once stood for defence. Today, on the other hand, the aim is to invite the visitor to extend the view beyond the country's borders. From the viewing plateau, visitors can let their gaze wander freely from the Bohemian Forest to Salzburg and Berchtesgadener Land. On fine days, the view to the east extends as far as the Totes Gebirge mountains. However, the view of the historic castle grounds alone is worth the climb up the 147 steps: you can see inside the modern eagle observatory complex, the historic castle garden and the building that remains from the 16th century, which now houses the seminar centre and the castle lounge. Next to it is the impressive 19th-century Schüttkasten, which now houses the Kunsthaus, as well as the neighbouring Bad Füssing and the Lower Inn European Nature Reserve, which offer breathtaking views.

And last but not least, visitors can enjoy a unique perspective of the most beautiful market square in Austria. If you want, it is also completely barrier-free, with a lift. The tower's entire electricity requirements are covered by state-of-the-art photovoltaic technology, and the system also supplies electricity for the seminar centre.
Another symbolism of the tower is expressed here: it stands for emission-free and clean energy generation and, with a little imagination, points not only upwards but also downwards: Obernberg is virtually energy self-sufficient with its geothermal plant, which heats all public and the majority of private buildings thanks to the hot water-bearing underground rivers.

The view of the marvellous scenic surroundings of the Alpine foothills and the "eInnblick" into this context are elegantly combined at the Obernberg am Inn observation tower.
