ENERGY TOUR at HARGASSNER - the family business with heart

35 years ago, Anton Hargassner persuaded his wife to install a self-built, automatic wood-fired heating system in their newly built family home. Hargassner acquired patents for this and similar developments in the following years and founded Hargassner GesmbH in 1984.

"Nature is our lifeline. Without a healthy nature, a healthy life is not possible. That is why we have seen ourselves as pioneers in environmentally friendly heating with renewable energy since the company was founded in 1984. This pioneering spirit is still unbroken, because we have set ourselves the goal of being and remaining the best when it comes to biological heating - for the sake of the environment and future generations," says senior boss Anton Hargassner, explaining the company philosophy. He has also passed this passion on to his two sons Anton and Markus. The family business will continue in this spirit in the next generation with a great deal of tradition, but also innovation.

Hargassner has been producing wood chip systems for over 30 years and pellet systems for twenty years. The range includes systems in the output range from 9 to 330 kW using cascade solutions up to 2,000 kW. Since 2010, log boilers from 20 - 60 kW have also been manufactured.

The expansion of the Hargassner company began in 2017. Hargassner Energy World is being built on a total area of 6,000 m2 and will include the new training centre, a customer centre with an impressive biomass world and state-of-the-art office space.
