The specialties of the honey-grower in Mining include freshly caught freshwater fish from the local waters, Surspeckknödel inns and game dishes. The honey-bearer does not carry his name in vain - many of the dishes are refined with honey.
The chef, the host himself, makes sure that only regional ingredients find their way into the kitchen. For this, the honey grower was also awarded the "AMA Gastrosiegel". The inn is a member of the Innviertel region of Surspeck, an association of farmers and butchers, to preserve the tradition of Innviertler Surspeck.
