The new city hall was built on the area of the old parish hall. The two-storey event hall was designed in a conical shape with a light-flooded foyer. The folklore house is connected to the new building complex. A large glass opening provides a delightful insight into the museum's Schwanthaler collection. The backlit elevator clad with Satinato glass reache all floors of the old and new building and guarantees handicapped access on all levels.
The conception and equipment with modern stage technology offer a wide range of possible uses - from concerts and multimedia lectures to theater performances.
The stage part of the former ballroom in the Volkskundehaus is set up as a buffet area. The rear part of the old hall houses the permanent exhibition on the history of the town of Ried.
The Sparkassen-Stadtasaal can be used in a variety of ways: from concerts to multimedia lectures, discussions and theater performances.
In addition to the event area, the lift also provides access to the museum building, so all areas guarantee handicapped access
Cloakrooms and toilet facilities including disabled toilets are located in the basement.
A staircase leads directly from the artist's cloakroom to the stage.
The air cooling system installed in 2004 ensures a pleasant room climate.
Loading and unloading zone with lifting platform on J.-G.-Hartwagner-Straße.
