SV Ried stands for down-to-earthness, tradition, community and serious business. Sportvereinigung Ried was founded on 5 May 1912 and has been an established Bundesliga club with the highest possible sporting goals and financial security for over 20 years.

SV Ried is committed to being a training club. We have a broad base with a competitive team, the amateurs and numerous youth teams. Around 300 children are trained and coached at the heart of our club, our own academy. We promote the skills and strengths of our professionals, employees and young players.

SV Ried has been able to establish itself in Austrian professional football for years with solid financial management. In addition to well-known, successful companies, numerous regional partners also form the economic basis of the club. Without the support of these mostly long-standing partnerships, it would not be possible to maintain professional football operations. We will continue along this successful path together in the future.
Our greatest successes include the two ÖFB Cup victories in 1998 and 2011, the autumn championship titles in 2010/11 and 2011/12 and the runner-up title in 2006/07. Of course, our participation in the Europa League and the associated matches against PSV Eindhoven and Legia Warsaw also provided some special moments.
