Diagnosis and treatment of anal complaints, conservative and surgical treatment of haemorrhoids, fissures and fistulas.

Faecal incontinence
Member of the team of the certified pelvic floor centre at KH-Ried. We initiate and support the diagnosis and treatment of faecal incontinence.

Pilonidal sinus (sacral dermoid, "twin tumour")
Radical removal of the diseased area and plastic coverage using swing flaps reduces the inpatient hospital stay to 3-4 days postoperatively and minimises the length of sick leave.

Surgical procedures
Numerous minor operations can be performed in my surgery. Pigment spots on the skin (naevi), small fatty growths (lipomas) or sebaceous cysts can be removed under local anaesthetic. Abscesses on the skin can also be opened. Inflammations in the area of the big toes (nail beds, ingrown toenails) can be treated very well under local anaesthetic.
Superficial abscesses in the anal area can also be opened as a first aid measure. However, the definitive determination of the cause and treatment must be carried out in hospital under general anaesthetic.
