Street work is outreach social work in the low-threshold area.

This means that the offer is linked to as few prior commitments as possible (problem awareness, adherence to obligations, abstinence, etc.) on the part of the clients. "The street" is synonymous with the living environments of our target groups.

Street work centres are client- and impact-oriented service providers. We act on a public mandate and are caught between the needs of our clients and the demands of society.
