Doris Furthner, born and raised in the Salzburg Lake District in Mattsee and settled "am" Treubach in Upper Austria. In 2014, our sunshine Noah was born and this wonderful journey began. Even before the birth, I knew that I wanted to carry my baby close to me, heart to heart, at eye level. So I found out about the various options in advance. (I can highly recommend a visit to a trained babywearing counsellor)
I tried out lots of different slings from all over the world. The desire arose to design my own shawls. I had lots of thoughts, ideas and visions in my head.
Despite everything, one thing always took centre stage,
if - then "Made in Austria." Made with love, worn with love.
After a long search, many test weavings and several other teething troubles as a young entrepreneur, I found the right partner who was also prepared to embark on this wonderful journey with me.
With this weaving mill, I have found exactly the right partner at my side who, just like me, attaches great importance to yarns made from pure natural fibres. A small family-run weaving mill.
