Scottish Highland cattle and sunflowers are kept and grown at the Stefelbauer farm in the Innviertel region. 🐮🌻
In2010 , Ferdinand and Ina Wölflingseder converted their farm from dairy cows to highland cattle. The cattle are kept outdoors and they market the meat themselves.
The Stefelbauer has been an organic farm since 2017 .
Sunflowers, spelt and wheat flour were added in2019 . 🌻
They were awarded a silver medal at the 2022 Direct Marketing Fair in Wieselburg for the organic sunflower oil they press themselves. 🥈
Spar and Nah & Frisch are also supplied in the surrounding regions. The products are also available in the organic self-service shop Kobl in Ried im Innkreis and at the Aspach FoodCoop Brot & Ruam. Meat is available once or twice a year - usually at Easter and Christmas (on pre-order).
