The Lohnsburg shop in the centre of town covers the daily needs for seasonal staple foods in cooperation with regional farm-gate suppliers: Dairy products, sausage and meat products, eggs, pasta, flour, spices, teas, fresh fruit and vegetables, juices, liqueurs, ... Fresh pastries are also offered in the shop-café.
The shop with its small café serves as a social meeting place: it is a meeting point for local residents, a "snack stop" for travellers passing through and also a retreat with a book corner. The small café serves fresh pastries from the Lohnsburg bakery. Liver loaf rolls from the organic farm Brenner in Lohnsburg are also served.
The Lohnsburg shop is run by six people with disabilities and three employees of Lebenshilfe Ried im Innkreis. The employees learn various retail activities and processes here and develop their personal skills. They have chosen this job themselves - everyone who enters the shop realises how much they enjoy working here.
The Lohnsburg shop is a local supply project of Lebenshilfe Upper Austria, initiated by the Badegruber family from Lohnsburg.
