Orangery in the Maria Schmolln monastery garden - reopening
The monastery garden has been hard at work all winter. The old orangery, once built by the Franciscans, was brought back to life with the help of many volunteers from the Maria Schmolln parish. Our deputy chairwoman of the association, master florist Romana Gerner, is now moving into the former winter quarters of many plants from the monastery garden.
On 11 February 2022, she will open her florist's shop in the renovated glass house "Mamsellgreen". The mix of fresh flowers, plants and local natural materials gives Mrs Gerner's floral art a very special charm. Her creations are exclusive, trendy, excitingly natural and a wonderful gift for friends, family, business partners and your own home.
