The history of the Osternacherhof

The current Watzinger Inn was first mentioned in a document in 1492. The property came into family ownership in 1874.

At the end of the seventies, the original building was completely demolished and the construction of today's inn began. Due to the construction of the highway, we decided to set up seven guest rooms.

In 2002, we converted the old cider cellar into a storage cellar for bottled wines. Three years ago, in order to meet the increasing demand, we built a modern guest house with 13 spacious double rooms equipped with solid wood furniture to replace the empty cowshed.
