In the beautiful Moosbachtal valley at around 430 metres above sea level, vegetables are grown on a small scale and marketed regionally.
Around 25 different types of vegetables and many different ornamental and medicinal plants are grown on an area of approx. 2000m², some of which is under plastic sheeting, from the "Azur Star" 🥬 (kohlrabi) to the "Zuckertraube" 🍅 (tomato).
For the most part, we work according to the "Market Garden" principle (J.M. Fortier) with permanent beds and specialised tools 🔨. This means that there is almost no use of machinery, thus creating direct access to the food.
